Baby Hadley {8 days new} | Sacramento Area Newborn Photographer | Roseville, Ca

It was an absolute delight to capture sweet little Hadley’s newborn portraits on her eighth day of life in her home in Roseville, Ca. She was welcomed into this world by her mom, Dad, big brother, and doggy, and I got to take all of their pictures.
Like I mentioned above, I met them at their house and set up my studio gear in their living room. I travel to my clients’ homes all the time, and have my system designed to where it really is no trouble for me at all to be a mobile photographer. This family wanted to include their dog in their family portraits, and I thought this task would be more easily accomplished at their house instead of inside my small studio, so I set up a time where I would come over to their home and photograph them in their comfortable space that their dog and toddler are already very familiar with.  I planned to just bring along all of my studio gear and finish their daughter’s newborn portraits after their in home family session. They were so sweet and thanked me over and over again for traveling to their home, but I am always happy to do so!
When Hadley’s mom first spoke with me about her daughter’s newborn portraits, and when we had our initial consultation she told me that she loves pink and loves sparkles. I pulled out all of my pink backdrops, princess crowns, and all of my most femine frills for Hadley. Since Hadley’s mom is a dancer, I had a custom knit ballerina outfit made for her, and I’m pretty sure there were some happy tears shed when her mom saw the portrait I took of her newborn in her pink dress.
Hadley was an amazing model who did a wonderful job posing for me. She is such a sweet girl and I was so happy to get to snuggle her and take her pictures!
