I had a fantastic time taking newborn portraits of this sweet baby girl named Brianna. Here is a look at her set of newborn pictures that I captured in my Roseville baby portrait studio.

Brianna’s mama and I have mutual friends, and I have known her for many years. I am soooo happy for her and her husband!

I cannot get over this baby girl’s abundance of thick beautiful dark hair!  She is gorgeous!  Brianna’s mama tells me that she had a tremendous amount of heartburn during her pregnancy.  When expecting moms suffer from this uncomfortable pregnancy symptom, it has been said by many old wives that the mom will deliver a baby with full head of hair.  As with all old wives tales, this isn’t always the case, but Brianna definitely proved this particular old wives tale to be true!

Ever since I was awarded a spot as one of Sacramento’s top maternity photographers, my phone has been ringing off the hook and my schedule is jam packed with maternity and newborn sessions. It makes me so happy! The holidays have kept me very (veryyyyyyyyyy) busy, and I am acutally typing this blog post up while I am “vacationing” with my family up in Tahoe, celebrating Christmas.  I brag all the time about how I have the best job EVER, so it’s hard for me to leave my laptop and work at home, and this trip has had quite a bit of downtime, so it’s perfect for me to catch up on some blogging.  Brianna’s pictures are so lovely that I had to make sure I share about her newborn pictures on my blog.

Sweet little Brianna was an absolutely fantastic model during her newborn portrait session and did every pose I asked her to do. She was nice and sleepy and I was so thrilled with all of the adorable shots I was able to capture.

For this newborn session, I used soft, sweet colors, and my signature vintage feel. Brianna’s mom requested my dream catcher setup, and asked me to incorporate the Christmas season into these portraits.  She also told me she likes the color white and lighter colors.  My favorite shot that I captured would have to be the one of Brianna on that peach backdrop smiling for me.  She is just precious and I sure had fun with this session!

Just wanted to say thanks again to Brianna’s family for choosing me as their Roseville/Sacramento newborn photographer.
It was an absolute delight to be able to document this special time for you guys, and I look forward to watching your darling little one grow and being there to document all the milestones for you! <3
