Caples Family Fall Portraits | Sacramento Photographer | Roseville, Ca

Oh my goodness, I had such a wonderful time with this adorable family.  I captured their fall family portraits in Roseville, CA, on a beautiful golden evening.  Their little boy is just the sweetest guy ever! And he was the best model for me.  He absolutely loved having his picture taken and much to my delight, was so happy to sit and smile for me.  We had a great time chatting about Paw Patrol and at the end of our session, he changed into his darling Halloween costume.  He is planning to go trick or treating dressed as a little cowboy, and I can’t get over how stinking cute he looks in his little boots and wearing that tiny belt buckle.  You readers will have to make sure to scroll all the way down to the bottom of my blog post so that you can see him in his costume!
For this family portrait session, we met at a park in West Roseville after the Sacramento area was struck by that huge storm we had last week.  I actually had to reschedule this family’s portrait session due to that nasty storm.  We rescheduled for the very next day that the weather forecast predicted the rain to have stopped, I crossed my fingers for clear skies for the day of our session, and was so happy that it worked.  Since it had been stormy, all of the colorful leaves that were decorating the trees were blown to the ground.  This made an absolutely beautiful backdrop for photos!  I love the pops of orange and all of the beautiful colors I was able to capture in these family portraits.  This mom also did a fantastic job coordinating her family’s outfits.  I’m a huge fan of her yellow floral print dress and the way she mixed the plaid pattern together.
