Elizabeth’s Newborn Portraits | Sacramento Area Newborn Photographer | Citrus Heights, Ca

I had the most amazing time taking newborn portraits and family portraits of this sweet family.  Here is a look at her set of newborn portraits that I captured in my Citrus Heights baby portrait studio.

Sweet little Elizabeth was welcomed into the world by her mom, dad, big brother, and big sister who all absolutely adore her.  Her older siblings did an amazing job listening to my directions and holding the baby for pictures.  While I was chatting with their mom, she told me that Elizabeth’s big brother is especially doting and loving towards the baby.  I greatly enjoyed getting to know this sweet family.  I learned that her older daughter and my son are in the same grade and actually attend the same school.  It was very nice to get to know another Kindergarten mom.  Sometimes it can be a challenge to get a group of siblings to cooperate for pictures, but these guys were just lovely.  Everyone was eager and happy to look at the camera and smile up at me, which made my job as a Sacramento baby photographer a piece of cake.
Baby Elizabeth is just the prettiest little thing!  She doesn’t have very much hair yet, and I wonder if she will take after her big sister’s beautiful fiery red or her big brother’s beautiful blonde curls.  I have fun guessing at what these sweet tiny humans will grow into.  It is truly wonderful to get to watch the baby clients grow up.  I so enjoy when they come back for milestone sessions and I get to compare their 6 month or cake smash portraits to their newborn portraits.  I am forever amazed at how quickly children grow and change.  Right now, Elizabeth is a tiny little peanut.  She has dainty features and absolutely beautiful lips.  She was an absolutely amazing model during her newborn portrait session and did every pose I asked her to do.  She was nice and sleepy, just how I like them!

For this newborn session, I put together a set that used mostly neutral colors, as well as a little bit of color and lots of sweet feminine touches.  This baby’s mom told me that she liked lace and flower crowns, and specifically requested a timeless, classic setup.  As you all may know, I am a huge fan of vintage lace, so I was very happy and excited to put something truly special together for this client.

Just wanted to say thanks again to Elizabeth’s family for choosing me as their Sacramento newborn photographer.
It was an absolute delight to be able to document this special time for you guys, and I look forward to watching your darling little ones grow and being there to document all the milestones for you! <3
