This week’s theme is “Emotion”. And I am entitling the emotion of this week, “Rain, Rain, Go Away!”
On Monday, I had dreams of going outside and using my macro lens to capture something emotional, but the weather didn’t let me. It’s been awful outside! Although this rain is wonderful for California, and I am thankful that the drought is coming to an end, I am officially starting to get cabin fever being cooped up inside. Channeling this frustration, I used some dramatic window light to tell the story of my son’s current state of emotions.
However, I’m not going to whine too much about the rain. It looks so fresh and green outside – what a change from the dry, barren summer and fall! I’m so excited for it to dry up outside so I can get back to shooting. I’m looking forward to shooting some fun engagement shoots, and can’t wait to photograph the wild flowers that are bound to start popping up any day now.
