Last week, I had the most fabulous time photographing fall mini sessions in a gorgeous orchard in Apple Hill. This is my fifth year photographing families from around the Sacramento area at this particular orchard. I am especially fond of photographing families in Apple Hill, because it looks like “fall” here and it is conveniently located not very far from Sacramento. In Sac and Roseville, the trees are still green and the weather is not quite sweater weather yet. I enjoy the short drive up to Apple Hill where I can breath in the fresh air and capture fall themed family portraits in the gorgeous scenery.
I will be coming back to Apple Hill in a couple of weeks. So if you would like to book an apple orchard mini session in a couple of weeks, please reach out to me. You can see details here:
Sweet little Benjamin is normally a very stoic and serious guy who doesn’t ever stop moving. He normally makes me work hard to get a smile from him, but I never mind the challenge! Working with kids is kind of my “thing”. I’m always down for a game of peek-a-boo, a spontaneous round of Frozen karaoke, or a chat about princesses or superheroes. I am a very stubborn person, and I will do whatever it takes to get the shot. However, Benjamin was such a huge fan of Apple Hill that taking his picture and capturing smiles was a piece of cake this go around. He had so much fun picking up apples that had fallen from the trees. He even tried to share one of his treasured apples with his baby sister! It was so cute, I was thrilled to have captured this moment in a picture.
All the kids love Apple Hill. I just can’t say enough great things about this location for family portraits!
