I had a fantastic time taking newborn portraits of this sweet baby girl named Violet. Here is a look at her set of newborn pictures that I captured in my Roseville baby portrait studio.
I have a soft spot in my heart for this particular baby girl’s newborn session for a couple of reasons. Number one being that this baby’s name is Violet, which just so happens to be my girl name choice. My baby ended up being a boy, so I never got to use the name, but I’ve always loved the name Violet. This baby’s parents have great taste in names! Her mom also has purple hair, so I felt especially drawn to her. And when she told me that she loves unicorns and showed me the little unicorn hat she brought to the studio, I fell in LOVE!
Ever since I was awarded a spot as one of Sacramento’s top maternity photographers, my phone has been ringing off the hook and my schedule is jam packed with maternity and newborn sessions. What an amazing feeling! My clients have thouroughly enjoyed the summer weather and beach sessions at Folsom Lake were in high demand this past summer. With all of the fun I’ve been having shooting outside, I have been slacking on my blogging for sure. Whoooops! I want to maintain my quick turnaround times and ensure that my clients get top service, so my blogging will just have to wait. I actually photographed Violet last month, but her pictures were so lovely that I just had to backtrack and make sure I share about her newborn pictures on my blog.
Sweet little Violet came to my studio along with her mom and grandma, who are absolutely head over heels in love with this precious baby girl.
She was an absolutely fantastic model during his newborn portrait session and did every pose I asked her to do. She was nice and sleepy and I was so thrilled with all of the adorable shots I was able to capture.
For this newborn session, I used soft sweet feminine colors, and my signature vintage feel. Violet’s mom told me that she loves flower crowns, lace, feminine frills, and unicorns. I sure had fun with this session!
I pulled out all of my flower crowns and tried to use lots of purple accents, because when your name is Violet, your newborn photographer just HAS to! Violet’s mom was a huge fan of the shots I did with my pecan colored flokati rug set up, and I think overall this set is just wonderful.
Just wanted to say thanks again to Violet’s family for choosing me as their Roseville newborn photographer.
It was an absolute delight to be able to document this special time for you guys, and I look forward to watching your darling little one grow and being there to document all the milestones for you! <3
